Clocked in at 22 at The Clockworks Cafe

Julian strums on his 3/4 guitar,
Why are you crying?

Jordan's smiling
'cause he wears his mother's dresses.
Julian sings and he laughs 'cause it's true.

Young Jordan 3 says
it will be a social experiment, confused
about the gender, of his new niece or nephew.

Blue Converse. Black Keds.
Black skater jeans or neon lime jeans.
Expressive rainbow youth.

Pink is in for these Rainbow gay youth,
all wearing some pink except Julian.

All are wearing some pink except Julian.

Bouncing pink birthday balloons,
Happy Birthday Julian.

So many lost, wandering in so many ways,
couch or park surfing but as I write I'm feeling lost.

Rainbow youth Jordan with rainbow dreads,
two Pikuchu's and many necklaces.
Pink plastic Pikuchu's on a small sporty purse.

He is also wearing many shirts and colors.
Is this a sign of too much attachment,
too much drama.

Julian threatens his friend's esophagus?
Where's the esophagus?
I know; my friend Katie had esophagus cancer.

My notes written on the back of a paper honoring Polly,
My friend Katie's recently deceased, peace activist older friend.
