segundo,
i too tell stories
a
woman is washing
her heart with tears at the banks of a river
her tears will give the sea its salt
and this too will be history
inside her: a man
is pulling nets from the sea
his heart gets all mixed up with the nets
inside him: a child has
hooked the man's
heart like a fish
one day the child
will grow cold and hungry
and he will set
his own heart on fire
and the man and woman
will burn in the same honey:
they will see themselves in each other
as one who looks
at a mirror
(and this mirror will never break!)
and they will burn
in the same honey
(and honey never spoils):
and this honey will
sweeten the oceans
and this too will be history
